Terms of reservation
Rooms Sunce Island Residence
Inquiries and reservations are accepted through our web site (e-mail or contact form). For reservation to become valid, the user must pay deposit payment, usually cost of the first night room rate or the amount arranged with the sales department, depending on the season. Deposit is charged at the time of the reservation, remaining balance is due in full upon check-in, in Kune or in Euro, cash only.
Deposit payment can be made through bank money transfer.
Final confirmation of the reservation is sent upon receipt of the payment.
Balance is to be paid in full upon check-in, in Kune or in Euro, cash only.
Check-in is from 14:00 till 22.30 on arrival day.
This will allow adequate time to clean the property. If your arrival does not fit in with these times we will where possible accomodate you or store your luggage until the check-in time. You must pre-arrange this with us if you do require assistance.
Late check-in fee is applied for arrivals after 22:30 on the arrival day in amount of 20,00 Euro.
Check-out is till 10:30 a.m. on departure day.
Late check-out from 10:30 a.m. up to 4 p.m. – half of the daily room rental rate applies. This service is subject to availability and arrangements for late check-out must be made in advance. Check-out after 4:00 p.m. will require payment of an additional nights rental.
Security Deposit: Damage deposit of 150€ is necessary per apartment. The payment of security deposit can be paid directly in cash to the owner or his/her representative upon arrival at the property, unless otherwise stated in the rental contract. This cash deposit will be refunded at the end of the rental period, less any additional expenses (if applicable) and any damage the property may have incurred.
Charges will be made in a fair manner to put right the damage, or to replace the broken objects.
Damage to the Property:
Except in case of normal wear and tear the clients are responsible for any damage to the Rooms Sunce Property or its contents, which has occurred due to negligence, willful damage or irresponsible behavior of the clients or their guest. Such a damage must be immediately reported to Residence owners or it’s representative. The cost of replacement must be paid by the clients or deducted from security deposit.
Cleaning
We request that You leave the rented unit in its original state. Rooms Sunce is a self-catering accommodation which means guests are responsible for keeping their own rooms clean (including bathrooms/kitchens in en-suite rooms).
Our accommodation is fully cleaned before and after your stay. Towels are changed every 3 days or more often upon request. Please bring used towels to reception desk and change them to clean ones.
For stays over one week, the unit is cleaned once a week, every 7 days with change of bed sheets and towels.
We do not have daily cleaning service. However, additional cleaning service which includes fresh linen & towels, vacuuming and washing of all floors and kitchen surfaces is provided upon guest’s request for 14 Euro fee per room and 25 Euro per apartment.
If You find damaged items upon arrival that were not caused by You, please make a note of it and communicate it to us immediately. This will enable us to exclude You from responsibility as well any necessary repairs can be made as quickly as possible.
Please make your room/suite presentable for us to service.
Cleaning charges will apply if dirty dishes are left upon departure.
Please bring your own beach towels for outside use. We do not provide beach towels.
General provisions on data protection:
In accordance with General provisions on data protection – Croatian GDPR, we must inform you that when placing an inquiry for accommodation, making a reservation and at check-in into your place of accommodation you agree to present your personal identification documents, i.e. submit your personal data (first and last name, type and number of your personal identification document, gender, state and address of residence, with date of birth and citizenship), all for evidence of tourists in the Information System of Tourist Boards of the Republic of Croatia – eVisitor (Law on sojourn tax, National Gazette 152/08).
The personal data is collected for statistic processing and is used by the Tourist boards, public authorities and Ministries relating to this procedure (Ministry of tourism and Tourist inspection, Ministry of internal affairs and Ministry of finances – Customs authorities).
Each unauthorized usage, publication, change, processing, reproduction, distribution, recording or assignment or any other form of unauthorized usage of such personal data is strictly prohibited.

Terms of cancellation
Should you need to cancel a reservation, please cancel in time as failure to do so may result in a charge of one night or more, depending on your reservation.
The reservation is valid from the day the guest pay the deposit payment and the reservation is held to 24:00 of the arrival day. If the guest does not arrive, or cancel up to 30 days before arrival, Rooms Sunce Island Residence will retain the full deposit amount.
Cancellation or change of reservation is possible only in written form.
We have worked hard to turn our family property into a relaxing and comfortable base, and to make it a real home from home.
